Character Integration Guide
Party Expectations
The party must:
- know one another
- trust one another enough to cooperate
- share meaningful connections
Strong political isolation does not fit Vedrheim well.
Faction Membership
Faction membership carries:
- obligations
- scrutiny
- opportunities
- enemies
Most factions dislike divided loyalties.
Examples:
- Velvet Court distrusts connections to the Raven Network
- Other factions may exploit cross-faction ties
Divine Bloodlines
Divine-blooded characters attract:
- recruitment
- curiosity
- fear
- political manipulation
Bloodline visibility may become dangerous.
Social Consequences
Everything in Vedrheim creates relationships:
- debts
- favors
- obligations
- rivalries
Characters rarely remain anonymous for long.
Shared Headquarters
The party may begin with a shared fixer-upper headquarters.
This location can become:
- a safehouse
- a business
- a political base
- a symbol of influence
Political Reality
Neutrality is difficult.
Even refusing faction involvement creates political consequences.
